Lipolytic effect of beta-endorphin in human fat cells

摘要: Recently, a role of beta-Endorphin on peripheral tissue metabolism has been suggested. A lipolytic effect observed both in vivo and vitro animals but, at present, there is no evidence for similar humans. In this study, we investigated the isolated human adipocytes. induced significant increase glycerol release fat cells. Naloxone was able to inhibit beta-Endorphin-induced lipolysis. The opioid antagonist alone had basal lipolysis Epinephrine-stimulated when administered together with hormone. Our results suggest that may play also cells be mediated by specific opiate receptor.
