摘要: Abstract An enkephalin analogue, [D-Ala 2 , MePhe 4 Met(o)-ol] (DAMME), given intravenously to normal subjects raised serum pro- lactin and growth-hormone levels but lowered of luteinising hormone, follicle-stimulating hor- mone, cortisol, corticotrophin. There was also a small fall in total glucagon gastric inhibitory pep- tide (G.I.P.) rise thyrotrophin. β-Lipotrophin, motilin, vasoactive intestinal peptide, insulin, gastrin, pancreatic were unchanged. Blood-gly- cerol increased, blood lactate, alanine, glucose fell. Prior administration the opiate antagonist, naloxone, attenuated hormonal responses DAMME. This analogue produces endocrine meta- bolic changes man which may be mediated through opiate-binding receptors both within outside brain. The enkephalins related substances vide an important link between perception, behaviour, neuroendocrine regulation hormone secretion metabolism.
