Cryptotermes (Isoptera, Kalotermitidae) on Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu: Redescription of Cryptotermes albipes (Holmgren & Holmgren) and description of Cryptotermes penaoru sp. n.

摘要: Complete series of two species the phragmotic drywood termite genus, Cryptotermes (Isoptera: Kalotermitidae), were found on Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. Here, I describe for first time soldier albipes (Holmgren & Holmgren), which resembles C. domesticus but presents deep depressions head sides and vertex. The other species, here described as penaoru sp. n., comes close to tropicalis, a known from tropical rainforest northern Queensland, its is distinguished by more elongated capsule.
