摘要: Duplex DNA functionalized with pyrene has been utilized to fabricate DNA-modified electrodes on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG). Films have characterized using AFM and radioactive labeling as well electrochemically. The data obtained are consistent a close-packed structure in the film helices nearly upright orientation, seen earlier fabrication of thiol-tethered duplexes gold. Also gold, we observe reduction DNA-bound intercalators DNA-mediated reaction. intercalator is attenuated presence single-base mismatches, CA GT, independent sequence composition oligonucleotide. This sensitivity mismatches enhanced when methylene blue coupled an electrocatalytic cycle ferricyanide. extended potential range afforded by HOPG surface allowed us also investigate electrochemistry previously inaccessible metallointercalators, Ru(bpy)_2dppz^(2+) Os(phen)_2dppz^(2+), at surface. These results support application convenient reproducible for electrochemical sensors charge transport.
