摘要: Abstract Forest transition is a product of the interaction among bio-physical characteristics, economic development, and ecological policies. Research on process factors for forest transitions important resource protection socioeconomic sustainability. In this paper, based Landsat TM data socio-economic panel data, we examined dynamics spatial determinants at county level Loess Plateau (China) using econometric regression models 15-year period (2000–2015). We reached following conclusions: (1) Arable land, Grassland, land were dominant use types. The forested area increased 3262.41 ha from 2000 to 2015, was primarily due conversion arable land. (2) global Moran’s I value greater than 0.3 entire 15 years, proportion positive negative values larger 0 local values, which indicated that correlation positive, thus autocorrelation should be considered in quantitative analysis influence transition. (3) most suitable model estimating empirical interpretation lag with fixed effects. significantly positively correlated average annual rainfall per capita gross domestic (significance 1%). Ecological restoration project also affected area, but not significant. Based conclusion, recommend creating policies environmental sustainability harmonious development Western China.
