摘要: Seven multisporic isolates, two from Cuba, four the Southeastern State ofTabasco and Central Mexico, weremorphologically physiologically comparedwith 28 monosporic isolates (four permultisporic isolate) of fungus Lecanicillium (= Verticillium) lecanii.Mycelium type colony appearance wereassociated with specific conidial length, conidial production germination speed. Ingeneral, a cottony-likeappearance mycelium without anystriations had small conidia highconidial production; opposite was found forisolates sparse striatedcolonies. There an inverse correlationbetween time 50% theconidia (GT50) their length (r =−0.72, P = 0.01). Three groupswere determined: (2.9–3.9 µm),intermediate (4.6–5.8 µm), large(6.5–8.8 µm). Based on shape, five groups were distinguished:cylindrical half constriction roundedends; crescent-shape, curved both endsacute; one end somewhat moredistinctly narrowed; lanceolate form; andovoid to ellipsoidal shape. Differenceswere between cultures andmultisporic particularly withGTM50 where severalmonosporic exceeded multisporicisolates. Results analyses singlecharacteristics also confirmed withmultivariate analysis helping identify thatthe Tabasco morphologicallyand more variable. onthese results it is possible improve thecontrol potential L. lecaniiby making cultures.
