摘要: The Gulf of Finland is an elongated estuarine sea receiving a large freshwater input and nutrient load, especially in the east from River Neva. surface water salinity gulf increases < 1 to 6‰ west, less haline eastern areas are most eutrophied. Five study archipelago zone were surveyed with multimesh gill nets summer 1998. Our results confirmed that important factor influencing species richness northern coastal waters Finland, as marine gradually disappeared towards areas. However, conventional indicators eutrophication derived lakes (high total catches, high catches cyprinids) did not show logical differences between more eutrophic higher productivity part has led fish biomasses zone. A potential affecting communities seems be fishing pressure some
