Amplification of the c-met, c-erbB-2 and Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Gene in Human Gastric Cancers: Correlation to Clinical Features

摘要: We examined amplification of the c-met, c-erbB-2, and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene in patients with primary gastric cancer, compared data clinical features order to clarify relationship between oncogenic abnormality features. Oncogene amplifications were by slot blot hybridization using DNAs extracted from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues cancers. Seven seventy cancers (10.0%) had c-met amplification, nine (12.9%) c-erbB-2 six (8.6%) EGFR respectively. Eighteen cases (25.7%) exhibited one or multiple oncogene two (2.9%) simultaneous three genes. The tend show invasive character related peritoneal dissemination. lymph node metastasis. large tumors highly advanced stage. survival rate was significantly lower than that without amplification. Our indicated these genes metastasis cancer. Furthermore, this study about suggested type activated might decide on
