摘要: Abstract: Bivalves are one of the most abundant groups invertebrates in many benthic communities. From 1817 to date, numerous contributions have dealt with Argentine fauna marine bivalves. Despite this, at present, there is no a text summarizing currently available information on this group waters. The present contribution aims provide synthesis current state knowledge systematics, geographic distribution, biology, and ecology living estuarine species bivalves from coast its shelf and, based information, analyze diversity these areas.
