Complete genome sequence and characterization of the haloacid–degrading Burkholderia caribensis MBA4

摘要: Burkholderia caribensis MBA4 was isolated from soil for its capability to grow on haloacids. This bacterium has a genome size of 9,482,704 bp. Here we report the sequences and annotation, together with characteristics genome. The complete sequence consists three replicons, comprising 9056 protein-coding genes 80 RNA genes. Genes responsible dehalogenation uptake haloacids were arranged as an operon. While haloacetate would produce glycolate, glycolate operons identified. Two these contain upstream glcC regulator gene. It is likely that expression one responsive haloacetate. metabolism product halopropionate also
