摘要: Affinity partitioning is a special branch of biomaterials separations using aqueous two-phase systems. It combines the capability diverse biomolecules to partition in systems principle biorecognition. As result, macromolecule exhibiting affinity for certain ligand transferred that phase where present. This chapter describes present status theoretical background this approach and properties various natural artificial compounds which act as ligands liquid–liquid The proteins (enzymes plasma proteins), cell membranes, cells, nucleic acids are described typical examples. results discussed terms understanding practical application.
