摘要: Abstract We report on measurements of X-ray-excited charge transfer luminescence occurring in Yb 3+ -doped yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG : Yb) and ytterbium (YbAG). Born cycle model the localized levels gap host lattice using configuration coordinate diagram was used to describe process involving state (Yb 2+ +h v ) which can be formed under UV excitation after capture an electron valence band or conduction produced by high-energy excitation. The temperature dependence investigated variously crystals. Under X-ray excitation, fluorescence intensity decay-time drop drastically at below 120 K, where thermoluminescence peaks are detected. strong afterglow range glow reflects trapping effects. is shown important weakly Yb-doped crystals for a given low-energy concentration. This explained fact that mean distance separating filled traps centers expected relatively large both cases.
