摘要: Desire thinking is a voluntary cognitive process involving verbal and imaginal elaboration of desired target. A target can relate to an object, internal state or activity, such as gambling. This study investigated the role desire in gambling cohort participants recruited from community clinical settings. Ninety five individuals completed battery self-report measures consisting Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HADS), Gambling Craving (GCS), Thinking Questionnaire (DTQ) South Oaks Screen (SOGS). Correlation analyses revealed that gender, educational level, recruitment source, anxiety depression, craving were correlated with hierarchical multiple regression analysis both source only independent predictors when controlling for all other variables, including craving. These findings are discussed light metacognitive therapy (MCT).
