摘要: In many older reinforced concrete frames, the joints contain no transverse reinforcement. Under seismic loading, those may suffer damage and deform, thereby contribute significantly to displacements of frame, which impacts its performance. However, engineers typically ignore joint deformations in analyses, largely due lack appropriate analytical models reliable data against verify them. To improve simulation two-dimensional response frames with without reinforcement, a constitutive model was developed for shear joint. The replicates cyclic degradation strength modulus, energy dissipation branch curves. It calibrated using measured from tests on reinforcement that were subjected range displacement histories stress demands. has general form, is supplemented by recommendations values parameters, are expressed as functions geometry material properties. An independent set used validate proposed model.
