摘要: A model for predicting sterilization method selection is constructed on the basis of hypotheses about 1. relationship between fertility termination, sterilization, and decisions 2. influence substantive, processual, contextual factors in those decisions. The found to have an acceptably good fit data from almost five hundred women married couples selecting either tubal ligation or vasectomy. number interesting dynamic pathways leading are observed. Some weaknesses discussed. It desirable that further confirmation elaboration using longitudinal husband-wife be undertaken.
