摘要: Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases (TIMP, a specific collagenase) was found to inhibit thyroid hormone-induced tail regression, suggesting the important role collagenase in this process. Collagenase purified from culture media back skin tadpole bullfrog, Rana catesbeiana. Anti-tadpole polyclonal antisera were obtained against enzyme. The antibody inhibited activity collagenase. reacted tissues adult bullfrogs, tadpoles african clawed frog, Xenopus laevis, and newts, Cynopus pyrrhogaster, also human fibroblast Immunoblot analyses suggested that lacks procollagenase which is generally mammalian collagenases. Intense immunological stains observed for hormone-treated as compared those untreated animals. Thyroid hormone increased amounts not only epidermal layer but mesenchymal including fibroblastic cells.
