摘要: Abstract The effects of polymeric fiber addition on the multiple cracking performance composites have been investigated. For this purpose, cement-based matrices incorporating fly ash and a latex emulsion designed. Prismatic samples prepared subjected to four-point bending load. load-midpoint deflection curves crack patterns determined. Meanwhile, flexural strength relative toughness values calculated. Finally, number visible cracks formed throughout testing period has analyzed. Test results showed that toughening improvement mechanisms PP PVA fibers in matrix are extremely different modifications significantly change performance. weak decreased tendency reinforced composites. However, same modification attempt improved capacity case reinforcement. possible causes discussed with aid microstructure investigations.
