摘要: Abstract The transport of ibuprofen from propylene glycol vehicles through rat skin has been monitored in vitro. Skin stored for up to 4 months showed no significant change its permeability the drug but when same tissue was used consecutive experiments dramatic increases flux were observed. Significant effects on permeation caused by vehicle composition and pH found solubilities vehicle-skin partition coefficients measured all vehicles. As concentration increased related increase solubility reduction coefficient. effect degree ionisation effective or saturation solutions used. With suspensions penetration rates effectively independent until high values interfered with barrier properties skin.
