摘要: The prevalence of age-related neurodegenerative disorders in the elderly has dramatically increased parallel to life expectancy and social aging. This demands development effective therapeutic/preventive interventions aimed slow down negative effects aging extend health-span. Here, we overview mechanisms underlying brain context oxi-inflamm-aging theory, discuss cutting edge promising findings opening up possibility reverse physiological based on environmental enrichment. enriched environment (EE) represents an experimental approach animal models active social, mental physical life-style humans. Interaction with EE provides animals a diversion from monotonous thus stressful cage life. Most important, maintenance life-long “diversion” by means extends lifespan mice. sighting confirms great influence upon aging, suggests that “happier” are, longer might live good health.
