摘要: The presence of a single EGF receptor in Drosophila is contrasted by multiple ligands activating it. This work explores the role two ligands, Spitz and Vein, embryonic ventral ectoderm. potent ligand, whereas Vein an intrinsically weak ligand. We show that secreted emanating from midline, triggers expression vein ventral-most cell rows, inducing ETS domain transcription factor Pointed P1. In absence lateral fates are not induced when levels compromised. positive feedback loop generates robust mechanism for patterning
