摘要: In a series of studies, repetitive behaviour, executive function development and the links between these constructs were explored in Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (RTS). An overview provided evidence that dysfunction might underpin behaviour justified use developmental trajectory approach. Repetitive was RTS relation to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Fragile-X syndromes. Body stereotypy questioning occurred at similar frequency ASD, but phrases less frequently RTS. A test battery compiled administered profile trajectories functions in RTS relative typically developing children. Executive delayed mental age. Finally, relationships function development using correlational analyses. related poorer scores on verbal working memory inhibition measures. Adherence routines measure shifting emotional regulation, completing These findings highlight merit studying disorder groups pathways can be mapped cognition behaviour. The implications for research practice are discussed.
