摘要: The fertility of young bulls impacts on reproduction rates, farm profit and the rate genetic progress in beef herds. Cattle researchers industry therefore routinely collect data reproductive performance bulls. Genome-wide association studies were carried out to identify genomic regions genes associated with traits measured during pubertal development Tropical Composite bulls, from 4 24months age. Data 1085 collected for seven traits: blood hormone levels inhibin at 4months (IN), luteinizing following a gonadotropin releasing challenge (LH), insulin-like growth factor 1 6months (IGF1), scrotal circumference 12months (SC), sperm motility 18months (MOT), percentage normal spermatozoa (PNS) age 26cm (AGE26, or age). 729068 single-nucleotide polymorphisms used analysis. Significant polymorphism associations discovered IN, IGF1, SC, AGE26 PNS. Based these associations, INHBE, INHBC HELB are proposed as candidate IN regulation. Polymorphisms IGF1 mapped PLAG1 gene region, validating reported quantitative trait locus chromosome 14 IGF1.
