摘要: The first protein that binds to all newly synthesized RNA polymerase III transcripts is a highly conserved phosphoprotein known as the La autoantigen. Although binding by yeast Lhp1p pre-tRNAs required for normal pathway of tRNA maturation, role in biogenesis other has been unclear. We identified mutation novel component U6 snRNP causes cells require growth. This protein, Lsm8p, member family proteins, Sm-like shares two motifs with core Sm proteins U1, U2, U4 and U5 snRNPs. lsm8-1 have drastically reduced levels mature snRNP, consistent defect assembly. In these cells, stabilizes RNA, thus facilitating assembly into snRNP. These results provide evidence molecular chaperone III-transcribed RNAs implicate Lsm8p key very early steps
