摘要: A scanning X-ray diffraction study of cardiac tissue has been performed, covering the entire cross section a mouse heart slice. To this end, moderate focusing by compound refractive lenses to micrometer spot size, continuous scanning, data acquisition fast single-photon-counting pixel detector, and fully automated analysis scripts have combined. It was shown that surprising amount structural can be harvested from such scan, evaluating local scattering intensity, interfilament spacing muscle tissue, filament orientation, degree anisotropy. The workflow is described toolbox with example for general use provided. Since many cardiomyopathies rely on integrity sarcomere, contractile unit cells, present easily extended characterize diseased heart.
