摘要: Cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) lines provide crucial material to harness heterosis for crop plants, which serves as an important strategy hybrid seed production. However, the molecular mechanism remains obscure. Although microRNAs (miRNAs) play roles in vegetative growth and reproductive growth, there are few reports on miRNAs regulating development of Upland cotton. In present study, 12 small RNA libraries were constructed sequenced two stages flower buds from a CMS line its maintainer line. Based results, 256 novel allocated 141 new miRNA families, 77 known belonging 54 conserved families identified well. Comparative analysis revealed that 61 10 differentially expressed. Further transcriptome 232 target genes these miRNAs, participated cellular developmental process, cell death, pollen germination, sexual reproduction. addition, expression patterns typical negatively regulated genes, such PPR, ARF, AP2, AFB, verified by qRT-PCR cotton buds. These targets previously reported be related reproduction sterility, suggesting might act regulators occurrence. Some displayed specific profiles special fertile (F1). Present study offers information their exploiting mechanism, revealing regulatory networks
