摘要: The etiology of multiple sclerosis (MS) remains unknown; however, both genetic and environmental influences undoubtedly are involved. In terms the environment, infectious agents random factors seem likely there is growing evidence that MS may sometimes occur as an uncommon complication infection by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Support for this concept, including epidemiologic considerations, persistent B lymphocytes, known neurologic complications EBV infection, serologic studies, attempts at genome identification reviewed. These data consistent with being a leading candidate agent in causation, but not considered definitive time.
