摘要: Abstract Research results concerning the main ionospheric trough (MIT) in afternoon sector are present. Data used from meridional chain of stations located East Asian region. The analysis storms with different intensities reveals that depletion F2 layer ionization afternoon/evening can be observed subauroral latitudes storm recovery phase predominantly during equinoxes and is associated formation MIT equatorward wall. Model calculations evening show its location coincides belt westward drift geomagnetic 55–65° at 13–17 MLT. Hence simulated support assumption narrow deep formed by high velocities (∼700 m/s). transports low-density plasma night side. eastward (∼1000–1200 m/s) to morning side forming a sector.
