摘要: Abstract The spiny rat mite has been found to have a mean half-life of water exchange with vapour in the surrounding air 18·6 hr at 25°C when activity av = 0·925. Tritiated was used making this determination. It that rate constant for transpiration (kT) could be determined by measuring changes tritium content ( T ∗ ) time and sorption (kS) similarly calculated from determinations specific radioactivity (S). minimum (kP) pump responsible concentration unsaturated can kT, aw haemolymph, critical equilibrium activity. These studies were done under conditions so no significant mass occurred. values constants were: k =k S 0·0373 −1 P =0·0036 .
