摘要: In this work the viability of a simulated biomass gas which resembles in its composition so called producer is investigated as fuel for HCCI engines. There were several compositions used study; main difference mixture was change H2 to CO ratio. Indicated performance engine evaluated based on in-cylinder and cycle-resolved pressure measurements. The phasing analysis consisted peak pressures, rise rates, indicated mean effective (IMEP), efficiency, start combustion timing, duration. Combustion found be significantly affected by variations both intake charge temperature equivalence effects speed are more unclear; however, there some at different speeds speculated attributed air/fuel mixing possible stratification.
