摘要: The antibacterial activity of metal complexes ovotransferrin was tested “in vitro” against different bacterial species and the Zn2+ saturated appeared to be most active by comparison with apo-protein other complexes. Appropriate controls showed that such an effect neither due ions, nor iron deprivation, but a specific Zn-ovotransferrin complex. This required direct contact surface. In vivo experiments confirmed higher as compared apo-form.
