摘要: This paper provides an overview of the empirical research literature on nursing advocacy. It offers a description contexts, methods and issues validity reliability used in studies advocacy, as well advocacy definitions, activities consequences results those studies. The review focuses articles retrieved from CINAHL MEDLINE databases published between 1990 2003. draws attention to complexity concept difficulties operationalisation, concentration reactive nurses' perspective. There is lack patients' perspectives general hospital settings.
