摘要: Abstract Efficient H2 producing bacterial strain Thermoanaerobacterium thermosaccharolyticum IIT BT-ST1 was isolated from the anaerobic digester. Taguchi design of experiment applied to evaluate influence temperature, pH, glucose, FeSO4 and yeast extract on production with three levels orthogonal array in experimental design. Temperature showed most significant process. Investigation mutual interaction between process parameters studied employing Box–Behnken Experimentally optimized (60 °C, pH 6.5, 20 mM FeSO4, 4 g L−1 12 g L−1 glucose) gave maximum 3930 mL L−1 24 h, which have close resemblance theoretical values.
