摘要: Abstract Steady-state accommodation as a function of sinusoidal and square-wave grating contrast was measured in amblyopes. The amblyopic eyes exhibited reduced average response levels required greater to sustain than the fellow dominant eye or visually-normal control subjects. Following therapy, markedly improved. These results suggest: (1) accommodative controller gain, (2) stimulus effectiveness target contrast, (3) considerable residual visual system plasticity with respect neurological pathways accommodation, eye.
