摘要: 1. Resting potentials and action recorded from in situ, intact desheathed giant neurones of the right parietal ganglion Limnaea stagnalis are similar magnitude. Ganglionic potential profiles reveal absence a sheath potential. It is concluded that extra-neuronal fluid has ionic composition to blood (bathing medium). 2. A 34 mV decade potassium slope obtained for both de-sheathed neurones. Depolarization neuronal membrane takes place rapidly preparations, de-sheathing procedure significantly increases rate depolarization. 3. reduction temperature 23 8°C only slightly prolongs time-course depolarization an neurone. When concentration bathing surface elevated, this cation at changes exponentially with time. suggested therefore diffusion along extracellular channels mechanism pathway movement ions through .
