摘要: Abstract We extend the study of performance a prototype two-phase liquid xenon WIMP dark matter detector to recoil energies below 20 keV. demonstrate new method for obtaining best estimate events using calibrated sum charge and light signals introduce corresponding discrimination parameter, giving its mean value at 4 kV/cm electron nuclear recoils up 100 keV (nuclear energy). show that fluctuations in recombination limit most energies, reveal an improvement 20 keV due surprising increase ionization yield low energy recoils. This is crucial high-sensitivity search.
