摘要: Purpose Protein concentration in the anterior chamber of noninflamed eyes is determined by three factors: rate protein entry into aqueous humor (AH), removal bulk flow AH, and volume. On basis observations previous investigators authors' computational modeling, it was hypothesized that a direct reciprocal relationship exists between flare AH flow. This studied pigmented rabbits, under several conditions, to determine validity hypothesis changes intensity reflect variations rate. Methods Aqueous were measured rabbits entrained 12 hr light: dark cycle, starting at 6 AM, which subsequently phase-shifted earlier allow measurements over light-to-dark transition period. rates fluorophotometrically using clearance method after corneal deposition fluorescein. A Kowa FC1000 cell/flare meter used measure flare. Predictions made computer model plasma-derived diffusion AH. The response primarily evaluated concurrently determining before administration intravenous acetazolamide. Results decreased 40% during constant light 47% light-dark parallel, monophasic manner. did not change significantly either condition. In contrast, acetazolamide-induced resulted could be simulated with through parameter alone. Conclusions Anterior appears modulated both factors affecting aqueous. Thus, do necessarily changes.
