摘要: Amorphous boron nitride (aBN) powders were prepared for planetary milling of hexagonal BN and phase transformation behavior under high pressure temperature was studied. Since aBN extremely reactive with humidity in the ambient atmosphere, two types prepared: one hydrated other free from humidity, a dry nitrogen atmosphere. Phase to cBN took place similar conditions previously reported aBN, while formation more difficult compared that starting crystalline phases BN. It suggested fine-grained their sintered texture could be obtained by appropriate HP/HT using aBN.
