摘要: Light modulation of the self-assembly behavior ionic liquids in aqueous solution is great importance from viewpoint fundamentals and technology. In this work, a new class light-responsive composed 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium cations, [Cnmim]+ (n = 4, 6, 8, 10, 12), trans-cinnamic acid ([CA]) anion was synthesized characterized. These compounds were used to study action UV light on aggregation solution. For purpose, critical concentration (CAC), ionization degree aggregates (α), standard Gibbs energy (ΔG°m) aggregate size determined before after irradiation by conductivity dynamic scattering techniques. The percentage cis-isomer these also reported at photoisomerism equilibrium HPLC measurements. It found that [Cnmim][CA] 12) could be efficiently modulated After irradiation, values CAC, α ΔG°m increased, while decreased. results have been rationalized photo-isomerization [CA] anion, hydrophilicity structural features anion.
