摘要: Abstract The falling film evaporation outside the elliptical tube was studied and compared with circular for design improvement of seawater desalination system using method theoretical analysis, CFD numerical simulation experiments. experiment shows that thickness liquid E (ellipticity) = 1.5 obtained from agrees well experimental data maximum deviation is within 8%. This fully illustrates model correct analog calculation feasible. results also manifested heat transfer coefficient = 1.5 tubes increases by 20–22% tubes. study testified it superiority feasibility were applied to falling-film horizontal exploratory researches will be conducted promoting application in system.
