Flow and heat transfer characteristics of falling water film on horizontal circular and non-circular cylinders

摘要: Abstract This paper presents a two-dimensional CFD study of the falling film evaporation horizontal tubes with different shapes applied in seawater desalination. The flow and heat transfer characteristics water on one circular tube two non-circular shaped tubes, drop-shaped an oval-shaped tube, are analyzed, respectively.
