摘要: BACKGROUND AND STUDY AIMS The aim of the present study was to assess value capsule endoscopy in diagnostic work-up patients whom there is a clinical suspicion small bowel Crohn's disease that cannot be confirmed using traditional techniques. PATIENTS METHODS A total 21 (14 men, seven women; mean age 43 +/- 8 years) with and biochemical were included study. Conventional imaging work-up, including upper lower endoscopy, as well small-bowel follow-through, carried out all patients. RESULTS Pathological findings not observed 12 (57 %). In other nine (43 %), lesions supporting diagnosis seen. most frequent located distal ileum aphthae, lineal serpiginous ulcers, fissures. Four had jejunum.
