摘要: A 43-year-old man with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) was found to be complicated pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP), which confirmed by biochemical and histological findings. After achievement of complete remission AML, he underwent whole-lung lavages twice between intensive chemotherapies. Subsequently, received high-dose chemotherapy autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT), performed safely without any infections. He has been in for 25 months after transplant no recurrence PAP. Autologous PBSCT combination lavage may a promising strategy the treatment PAP associated hematological malignancies.
