摘要: Abstract This study compared the effects of systemically administered 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) on tilt cage locomotor activity in rats. 5-HT was a more potent inhibitor than 5-HTP via both s.c. i.p. routes. The effect itself greater when i.p., whereas were independent route administration. These results indicate that behavioral changesfollowing injection may be attributable to peripheral 5-HT.
