摘要: The INSURRECT project began in 1993 as a collaboration between six UK universities distance teaching of undergraduate surgery. first year was spent testing the network and preparing course material. This followed by two-year pilot course. During this phase, 108 sessions were conducted, involving more than 1300 students all. It found that successful depended on increasing amount audience interaction much possible transmitting high-quality video pictures. Although time taken to deliver material interactive greater for convention al lectures, both teachers responded favourably project.
