摘要: The resistance to antimicrobial agents among Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an increasing problem. Clindamycin commonly used for the treatment of serious soft tissue infections produced by and failures are reported during therapy. Routine antibiotic sensitivity test susceptibility may fail identify iMLSB (inducible MLSB) strains due erm gene. Present study was carried out find percentage inducible in MRSA our hospital using D-test. 250 isolates from various clinical samples were confirmed standard protocol included this study. detected Oxacillin (1ug) Cephoxitin (30ug) disc diffusion method. Results interpreted according CLSI criteria. Antibiotic routine Kirby Bauers D-test performed on all Erythromycin detect constitutive resistance. Out aureus, 90(36%) found be MRSA. Among these, 46(51.11%) resistant. 17(36.95%) showed resistance, 4(8.69%) 25(54.34%) MS phenotype MRSA. Conclusion – We therefore conclude that it necessary perform D- detection test. Therapeutic thus avoided.
