摘要: This study investigated the efficacy of a one-dose porcine circovirus 2 (PCV2) subunit vaccine based on PCV2 Cap protein expressed in baculovirus system two different farms at which history circovirus-associated disease (PCVD) was present. Morbidity, mortality, average daily weight gain, carcass weight, load serum and immunogenicity were assessed. Serology to reproductive respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae performed. A double-blind, randomised, controlled field trial performed distributing 818 piglets between treatment groups. At inclusion (weaning 21 ± 3 days age), 408 animals (group B) received 2-mL intramuscular dose Porcilis PCV(®) (vaccinated group). Controls A, 410 pigs) mL adjuvant Diluvac Forte(®) intramuscularly. Weights recorded 12 26 weeks age, gain (ADWG) calculated. The weights pigs from farm slaughter (274 old). All dead (died or culled) underwent autopsy classify them as PMWS-affected not. each farm, blood samples taken 22 pigs/group for serologic studies. beneficial effect found after vaccination with single against PCVD. reduced mortality rate morbidity, viremia viral load, improved productive performances (e.g. ADWG: +70 g/day age when specific occurred) well (+4.5 kg). These effects associated virologic clinical protection measured activation both humoral cellular immune response.
