摘要: Eighty-three very-low-birth weight (VLBW) infants weighing between 500 g and 1,500 were studied. The neonatal morbidity mortality 86.7% 18.1%, respectively. Sixty-six point seven percent (8/12) of the under 1,000 suffered from a periventricular-intraventricular or intracranial hemorrhage (PVH/IVH) their rate was 50%. incidence PVH/IVH 52.1%, 12.7% when birth g. Forty-nine took place on first day life, 93% developed within 5 days after delivery. Cesarean section neither reduced nor increased survival whether in cephalic breech presentation. not affected by type presentation interval rupture membranes delivery. Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) requiring ventilator for ventilation significantly PVH/IVH, while low Apgar score (<3) at minutes did not.
