Traffic classification: Issues and challenges

摘要: Traffic classification has been extensively examined in recent years, as it is widely used network management, design, security, advertising and research. In the past few traffic techniques have evolved along with development of Internet protocols applications, many approaches investigated, proposed developed. Nowadays, ever increasing bandwidth, constantly sophisticated applications growth incentives to confuse systems avoid filtering or blocking are among reasons that remains one hot areas this paper, we first attempt present an analysis existing techniques, dwell on their issues challenges, then outline some recommendations can improve performance systems.
