摘要: Abstract 1. Digestive diverticular adenosine deaminases from three bivalved molluscs, Atrina serrata, Modiolus squamosus and Macrocallista nimbosa , were studied compared with the enzyme bay scallop, Aequipecten irradians . 2. All enzymes gave elution patterns on Sephadex G-200 identical to scallop but showed marked differences in pH stability. 3. Relative substrate specificities varied considerably, dependence temperature similar all enzymes, although differed more than did others. 4. It is probable that some of these have phylogenetic significance, greater importance are similarities, which imply existence an enzyme-level compensatory mechanism molluscs.
