INCLUSION OF REBAR CORROSION RATE MEASUREMENTS IN CONDITION SURVEYS OF CONCRETE BRIDGE DECKS

摘要: The benefits derived from measuring rebar corrosion rates in existing concrete bridge decks as part of condition surveys were examined using data collected several by traditional inspection methods. Rebar correlated reasonably well with metal losses observed specimens. Further, it appeared that a loss 3% to 6% weight may be the threshold necessary initiate delamination reinforced decks.
